  • Members of the State House of Assembly participate in the appointment process of Commissioners, State Chief Judges, Board members Chairmen of parastatals, etc., and must confirm the said appointment for it to be valid.
  • Members of the State House of Assembly perform the oversight function of carrying out investigations within its competence to prevent and expose corruption, inefficiency, or waste in the execution or administration of laws.
